I'm Dan Ackerman, here at CES 2013.
And we are taking a look at the Toshiba Qosmio X875.
It is something we really don't see a lot of these days.
A full sized 17-inch gaming high-end multimedia laptop.
Now, of course, it's got an Intel Core i7 and the latest in video, GPU.
What makes this guy a little bit unique is Toshiba has a new house developed hard drive and it is the first 1 Terabyte hard drive, that's a
hybrid hard drive, which means it also has an 8 GB cache to it and Toshiba says that'll mean programs can launch quicker and read right speeds that'll be a little bit faster.
And of course, some typical Qosmio fashion.
It's kind of big and in your face, black with kind of these red accents and it's got the [unk] of glowing logo in the back and it's pretty much the complete opposite of all the thin, slim Ultrabook we've been seeing for the last year and a half now.
It is the traditional 17-inch desktop replacement.
Something that is in very short supply here at the show.
From CES 2013, I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the Toshiba Qosmio X875.
