Tesla goes solar and Amazon's Alexa has secret deals
This is Cnet and here are the stories that matter right now.
Tesla is officially in the solar roof business.
And buying a solar roof from Tesla maybe cheaper than installing traditional roof top shingles.
Tesla received shareholder approval for its 2.2 billion dollar acquisition of solar city.
Tesla chief-executive, Elon Musk said he wants to make solar roofs as appealing as electric cars.
The panels are made of textured glass and mimic the look of terracotta and slate roofs.
Meanwhile, Elan Musk's other company, SpaceX, is moving forward on a 10 billion dollar plan to start a worldwide Internet service made up of 4,400 satellites.
SpaceX filed an application to the Federal Communications Commission, to launch the satellites to build the high speed network, which would orbit 750 miles above the earth.
And Amazon has a new way to score a sale this weekend, through Alexa.
Now through Monday, Amazon Prime members can get special deals when they order select items, by using the voice Controlled assistant.
You can find the deals online, or by asking Alexa, what are your deals?
The Alexa exclusive sales will keep popping up throughout December.
