>> Hey everyone. Welcome to Tekzilla Daily. I'm Veronica Belmont. Picture this. You're innocently futzing with your PC, tweaking your drivers and changing settings. You restart your computer so these changes will take effect, and holy crap, your machine no longer boots. Whatever will you do? Well if it were up to me, I'd say install Linux on it, but you're not me, so here's what you can do. Restart your computer again, and this time hit F8 repeatedly. This should launch the advanced boot options. Go down and select "last known good configuration." This well undo the most recent change made to your system, and should restore your system to a working state. If not, go back to the advanced boot option screen, and select "safe mode," which will load your operating system with only the bare essentials running. Then you'll have to undo whatever changes you'd made, and after one more restart you should be good to go. Now, if you're still having issues, it may be time to take it to a professional, or get ready to pull out that Windows install disc. Got a tip for us to pass along to the rest of the TZ crew? Email us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And as always, tekzilla.com. It's the place to find more tips, tricks, product reviews, and how-tos.
