Here's how it works.
Install the app, snap a photo of your W2, fill out some pretty standard questions and then you're done.
You could even file both your state and federal returns directly and securely from your Smart phone since it's ideal for people at the simplest returns.
Those without children, who don't have a property and with incomes less than $100,000 a year.
Another big name, H&R Block has also gotten into the mobile game.
You can't use their free app to prepare your taxes but it does offer other useful tools.
For one, a tax estimater.
So you can have a rough idea how much money you'll be getting back or O. Also, manage all the status of your federal return once it's filed.
Finally, the US government's free download IRS To Go is more of an information having a tool good for preparing and filing.
But there are a few useful features.
You can monitor your refund status or even order all test records to be mailed to you.
