Speed Queen washing machine can't overcome its poor performance
Y'all, I don't even know where to start with this disappointing washer.
For $1,049 you're expecting to invest in the Speed Queen brand.
Historically, fans pointed to the company's industrial strength design, long term warranties.
And impressive performance, all of which help justify its high price.
This model brings the fuss too.
It's a heavy, solidly built top loader with a seven year warranty and an agitator.
Agitators move clothes around and in theory help attack tough stains with sheer force of movement.
For as long as we've been reviewing washing machines Washing machines, people have been leaving comments on our videos asking, when we're going to review a speed queen, telling us that there are the best washing machines in the world.
Well, we did but the results were really terrible, this top road speed queen was much too gentle on clothes and completely failed at removing stains Stains, here's what a stain strip looks like before it's gone through a wash cycle.
Here's one from a different washer that didn't do so hot, and here's the [UNKNOWN] queen, yikes.
In addition to its too gentle agitator, its default normal eco cycle is only 29 minutes long.
Most normal wash cycles last at least 45 minutes, if not closer to an hour Sure, you'll likely safe energy using a fast wash circle like this, but people don't buy Speed Queens for their speed.
It also has a smaller capacity than most regular size washers, it just 3.2 cubic feet.
Part of that is due to the agitator inside, but I reviewed other agitator models with larger capacities.
Its design also leave a lot to be desired.
Again People don't get Speed Queens, traditionally, for their modern aesthetics, but this thing looks like it came straight out of the eighties or the nineties.
I'm not sure which, but it looks really old.
You also won't find much in the way of features, aside from it's eight cleaning cycles.
Ultimately, this Speed Queen falls far short of perfection.
Whatever you do, don't buy it.
Literally any other washer you can pick would do a better job.
