>> When you're an iPod speaker manufacturer trying to distinguish your product from the masses, one way to do that is to make a very unusual design and that's exactly what we have here with the Speakal iPig. And as you can see it's shaped like an adorable little piggy. Now, this speaker comes in a variety of colors. You have white, black, yellow or pink to choose from and it's definitely not the cheapest one we've seen actually. It will set you back about $130, but surprisingly, the audio quality on the speaker is really good actually. Now, that was probably due to the fact that there are five speakers total. You have the tweeters up here just underneath the ears, a couple of midrange drivers that make up the eyes, and if you flip it over onto the bottom you'll see that these stands actually have a purpose and that's to keep the 4-inch subwoofer lifted off of the table. Now, that means that this is capable of packing quite a bit of low-end, which is very impressive for a speaker of this size actually. And it does come with a remote where you can adjust treble and bass as well as navigate through the iPods menus and adjust playback and etcetera and so on. Also on the back here you have a manual bass knobs that you can control the low-end to your liking. Now one thing I would have liked to see maybe a little visual indication of where you're at on the different levels, but I can understand with something like this. It might be hard to design in a screen. Another little cute thing about this, the mouth lights up of course when it's plugged-in. Now the speaker does include a variety of dock adapters to snap into the top here and it should work with any dock connecting iPod. Also you can plug in an iPod Shuffle via the auxiliary line input on the back as well as any other non-iPod mp3 player. One final cute detail that I just love and I think totally tops off the package and that's that these are touch sensitive volume controls on the ears, so you actually stroke the ears to control volume. How cute is that? I'm Jasmine France and this has been the Speakal iPig iPod speaker system.
