Smart diapers, a state-of-the-art toothbrush, and a robot to bring you a fresh roll of TP

All right, hey, everybody, we're here at the Procter and Gamble Life Lab on the CES show floor. Did you know that the average person spends 156 hours on the toilet on a year. Well, Charmin is working on some technology to make that experience a little better. And, with us, we've got Greg Weaver who's from Charmin, tell us a little bit about the robot. What do you think, Jason I think there's a lot of people that can use it, if you have kids you specially needs this cuz they never remember to change the roll. No doubt about that. Very good, thanks Greg! You bet! Alright, so now we're going to talk about another product. This is from Pampers, so we talked about One way to have some relief from the toilet but before you learn to use the toilet you have to deal with diapers right? And this is some technology, this is gonna help make this better for the little ones. So yes tell us about what we're looking at here. Okay, I am Mandy I work on Lumi my pampers. You may hold it. Sure, Lumi is a revolutionary new baby monitoring product. Combined a state of the art baby monitor with this activity sensor Would you like to pick that up for me just there? Sure. And this activity sensor is tracking sleep 24 seven, as well as your baby's diaper and routines and what's interesting about Lumi I need to demo this here for you if you can hold that is sleep is critical to your baby's development. And as you know yourself, you know a good day of sleep set you up for a good night of sleep. For this baby here you can see she's basically a terrible sleeper. She's off, Her naps are not consistent. You can see during the night the purple chunks are sleep, and her bedtime is really all over the place. So what's unique about Rumi is it looks at this information and it says, Hey parents Look, I can help you out. How about a tip on better sleep or bedtime routine? Let's go here. And we partnered with, we co-developed the product actually with pediatricians to bring parents helpful tips. So let's take a look here, who knew that the optimal time for most children is between 7:30 and 8:30. And let's fast forward and assume that we implement that tip right here, So let's fast forward one week and take another look at Avery's chart. And with that insight, her parents were able to put her to bed right around eight o'clock each day. Look at these chunks of sleep, right? Look at this. She's waking up just one tonight. Those naps are nicely lined up. But what's most important is she went from 12 hours of sleep in 24 to 15. Awesome and this will work itself to the patterns of your baby, right? It's going to it's looking at your unique babies development. Amazing. It's a new toothbrush from oral B. And there's been a lot of toothbrushes at CES the last few years, interestingly enough, and I've tried most of them. And this is actually the first one that when I did the demo, my mouth felt cleaner afterwards and interestingly enough, the app that we That the product uses, showed me that I wasn't even using it that efficiently. So we're gonna go take a look at it. [BLANK_AUDIO] All right. Hey. Hey there. I'm good. Great, so we wanna take a look, I know I've already been over I've done the test. So we're gonna show everybody the new product, the Oral-B IQ. Awesome, IO, great. IO, thank you. Yep, you're good. [BLANK_AUDIO] Yeah, so this is a booth where we're giving CES. people that come through the chance to actually try out this brush Toby IO, which is which will be in stores in August. And so this is a brush that basically are all the engineers and scientists redefined rushing from the inside out. So they took a toothbrush they redefined the the refill. The bristles are these angled bristles that are a tufton tough configuration. They're reinforced and they actually get a deeper clean. It's a gentle clean that removes more black and hard to reach areas. The motor inside is a linear magnetic drive. It's smooth, it's frictionless, it's quiet. And it creates a really great sensation in the mouth. It has our cleaning ground rotating cleaning action. And it also has these microvibrations, so When people use it, and you used it yourself. I did. You get kind of this, a dentist clean feeling, this professional clean feeling, even after one use. So the thing that surprised me about this, I learned from this, was that, cuz I already used one of these toothbrushes, is that I move too much. Yes. I need to let the toothbrush do all the work So if we can pull up the thing and show my information. Absolutely. I actually have used a lot of these and this one was the best that I actually felt my mouth felt cleaner. And you can see I didn't actually do that great a job. So you did so because it measures all 16 zones within your mouth. So it takes a while to trick for it to train you to reach every zone perfectly. Yeah, so You did 69% which isn't bad but overtime you will get to a 100. Very good Graham thank you very much I appreciate it. And this Oral B, when is this product gonna be available?
