>> Hey, I'm Tom Merritt from www.cnet.com.
>> Here's a quick tip for saving websites to your desktop on the iPhone. This is handy if you have regularly visited sites like, I don't know, Twitter [assumed spelling] or Google Reader, you no longer have to keep a page open all the time in safari [assumed spelling] to maintain quick access. Here's how you do it. Go into safari, enter the address of the website you want to visit, once it loads, press the plus button, then press add to home screen. And here's an important point, the icons have limited character count, I figure it's around ten characters, so change the default name to something that fits inside that limit, press add, the icon will pop up on your desktop, that's it. You can have several pages of these too. See our quick tip for managing desktop iPhone icons for more on that. I'm Tom Merritt for www.Cnet.com.
>> Happy clipping.
