Samsung Pay on Samsung's latest phones, hands-onYou'll soon be able to pay at nearly any store, even those that don't support contactless payments, thanks to Samsung Pay. We take a look at how it works in New York City.
[MUSIC] I'm Scott Stein, and I'm holding the new Samsung Galaxy 6S Plus, with Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay is launching this September, and it is a service that is going to work via NFC at terminals, but it's also got the ability to work with Mag Stripe, MSP technology and this is how it works. Samsung pay uses a finger print to begin a payment at a terminal. You open the app and select between credit cards, or gift cards, membership cards, or whatever else, and if NSC payment, much like what apple pay uses aren't supported, then you just tap it against the place where you swipe your credit card, and the payment goes through.
