>> Hey there, I'm Rich DeMuro with CNET.com. You know, when it comes to finding and deleting spyware and other nasty programs on your pc, Ad-Aware has been around for awhile. But, the latest release, Ad-Aware 2007, goes beyond the standard spyware detection with a new feature called Track Sweep. It lets you clean up your internet traces with just one click. I'm going to show you how it's done. First, find Track Sweep under the tools and plug-ins in the left hand corner of the Ad-Aware menu. After selecting tools and plug-ins, it's the third option, click Track Sweep. There are five web browsing items you can clean up, your cache, cookies, history, last typed URL, and tabs. Track Sweep can find and erase these items on Fire Fox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. Now, at first, it's a little confusing because all of the items are unselected by default. They all have these red X's next to them. That means those will not be cleaned. So, if you want to clean things, you just have to click the red X's and it changes into a green checkmark and that means those items will be cleaned. Now, it's time to clean up. Just click the big button that says, you guessed it, clean. Everything with a green checkmark will be deleted. Now, keep in mind, Ad-Aware 2007 only wipes your tracks from browsers that aren't currently running. So be sure to close out of Fire Fox, Internet Explorer, or Opera, before you hit that button. You wouldn't want any [inaudible] to deal with your dirty laundry, now would you? That's it for this quick tip, I'm Rich DeMuro with CNET.com.
