>> The Macbook Pro 15-inch is the flagship product for Apple's laptop line. Yes we know it sexy; I mean come on check out these curves. And we know you'd eat instant rumen [assumed spelling] for a year to get one. So to make it even more drool-worthy Apple made some recent improvements to kick things up a notch. Now the processor has been pumped up to a 2.4 gigahertz Intel Core-2 Duo which puts it on par with other Windows' laptops. But the two big improvements come with a screen and a graphics car. Now the MacBook Pro uses a new LED backlit display and it uses less power and reaches full brightness instantly. Now more power is mo better for me and using our own CNET DVD battery test we squeezed out 3 hours and 36 minutes. That's 36 more minutes from the previous screens and that means even more minutes for you when you're doing casual tasks like web surfing and instant messaging at work; I know you do it. Now the graphics card underneath the hood gets a boost using the Nvidia G-Force 8600 GT graphics card. Now we're gonna get a little nerdy on you--Quake 4 at 1024 by 768 res, it runs at 65 frames per second; compared to the previous models which ran at 42 frames; so yes it's a screamer. Some of the key features that I dig the most, well hands down the magnetic power connector. Now if you've ever tripped over your laptop cable you know how valuable this is. So we check it out here; it's in the back corner and I've got the cable here. It's magnetic; it pops in and out and you'll find yourself playing with it constantly. Now one of the most underrated features with Apple's laptop line is their inclusion of the eyesight webcam and it's right here on the top inside the laptop screen. I haven't even seen an easier and more accessible way to do video conferencing even though we are in the year of 2007. And the other feature that I love is the backlit keyboard. Now when it gets dark in your room and you're all alone, the keyboard illuminates automatically. How slick is that? Now you know I'm never satisfied so what do I still want with the MacBook Pro? Well if I'm being a techno slob which I am, I want the MacBook Pro to be even lighter; yes I know it's one of the most jam-packed laptops but why not make it even lighter and even thinner. This will just separate from the pack even more and when you talk sleek and slim, hey come on guys nobody does it better than Apple. Now another thing--the MacBook Pro still gets pretty hot when it's sitting on my legs and yes that's only from the laptop. So Apple make it run a little cooler and I'd be a happy camper; but hey I'm just nitpicking here because I can, I mean that's what I'm here for. A laptop never looked this good and you'll be getting every penny's worth with this guy. How many times can you say that about anything? I'm Brian Tong for cnet.com and the MacBook Pro 15-inch continues its quest for world domination with its slick design, processor upgrades and immatial [assumed spelling] features. And you know what; I've got a new BFF.
