>> Hey what's up guys, I'm Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008. I'm here in Pioneer's neck of the woods and what we have here is the SC009-X Receiver from Pioneer; it's part of their elite line. Now Pioneer calls this a flagship receiver and they don't give this title to anyone. They really only build these types of machines when the technology is in place and it's ready to roll out. They've even hand selected the components for the highest quality AV processing. Now if we look inside some of the features that it has is the ability to support true HD and DTS HD audio codecs, also it has on the back 6 HDMI 1.38 inputs and 2 outputs. Plus check this out on the front; you've got a nice LCD; it does have color and it allows you to access your home media gallery, things like music and pictures. Now most amplifiers they use digital processing but not with this unit. What Pioneer did is that they partnered with Ice Power to create a switching amp or what they call a classy amp; this is some really high quality stuff. So the model is gonna be available sometime in March and the price point, a nice 7,000 dollars. I'm Brian Tong for CNET at CES 2008; there you have it the Pioneer SC-009TX Receiver.
