>> Hi, I'm senior editor David Katzmaier from CNET.com and this is Phillips 37PF9631D. This is the 37 inch flat panel LCD TV and it looks a lot like all the other flat panel TV on the market from the front, relatively stylish. Although these speakers to either side do make it a little, bit wider then a lot of the competition out there. I do like the two tone of black and silver stand here in the course around the edges nice glossy finish. But if you look around back it's nothing like allot the other LCD TV out there that's because it has a pair of florescent lights to it here side of the panel. These are what Phillips calls amble light and they're designed to shine on the wall behind the TV as you can see here and get it a little bit of extra ambience so when you set the amble light for example the different color you can have it be a blue, or green, or red on the wall behind the TV or you can set it to a variety of modes that'll actually follow the on screen actions. So when the picture gets dark the amble lights get a little bit darker and when for example when it shows a green field the amble lights turn green. So over all it's a unique feature that's Phillips used to distinguished a it's Ts out there if you want that kind of extra ambient it's a pretty nice little extra. In terms of other features, there's a pair of component video inputs and one HDMI input on this television. Connectivity a little bit less than a lot of LCD TV's out there and there's no computer input. When you took the Phillip's onto the lab, its picture quality was actually relatively impressive. We did like it's relatively deep black levels. Unfortunately, the color accuracy isn't quite as good as we wanted to in darker areas, it did turn a little bit blue, otherwise we were pretty impressed with the picture quality of this TV. Any way that's a quick look at the 37 inch Phillip's 37PF9631D. And I'm David Katzmaier.
