All right, this is the galaxy,
Fold.
There's been a lot of hype and a bit of controversy about it and its display.
But we thought we take it to the streets of San Francisco and get every people's opinion about the phone and its fold.

So first I'm gonna do is I'm gonna give you the phone and just let you just take a minute or two with it and react to it.
Wow, all right.

I mean, I kinda like it.
You know I mean like the only thing is the fold here is bothering me.
The crease?
Like the crease, I feel like even if I open it up fully I still feel like I see it.
I don't know, that's dope, okay.
Does that seam bother you on the screen at all?
Umm,
The more I look at it, the more it doesn't bother me.
So you'll probably get used to it once you start using it more.
Yeah, just having something that folds out into like a mini tablet, almost.
You do get a little bit of fold inside, though.
Little bit.
You see it a litttle bit.
Do you think that would bother you over time?
Or you'd get used to it?
I don't know.
I guess.
I guess I would get used to it.

The fact that you can actually see things.>> That is cool.
It's like a little like tablet.

So this is a review sample and there's been about a couple of dozen of these out there.
And the couple reviews have peeled off their screen protector and it completely destroyed the phone.
What is it?
It's a screen protector?
Not the screen?
It's actually part of the screen.
It's not just a screen protector but people didn't realize that.
Does that make you guys feel excited or disappointed that it might break?
Disappointed for sure.
I mean in my
opinion I think it's a little disappointing because as a consumer not understanding how this phone works, and I would possibly damage it, I would feel a little bit disappointed knowing I spent a lot of money for something I couldn't actually recoup.
One of my biggest concerns would be this crease.
Over time would you lose pixelation here or is this something that would survive?
Feels like an old school cordless phone at the house, you know, you flip it open though, boom, that thing is nice, got that fold up you know what I mean, Im out here folding it up.
So there is a fold, its a thing, you know its not a clean straight across move here but its pretty dope.
I might personally wait til they can kinda figure out this fold part here.
But I know cuz you know it's gonna crisp and [UNKNOWN] like you're not gonna be able to tell.
I can imagine, not just that the screen would eventually wear down, just the material.
But I also would be suspicious if just the crust or whatever of my pocket over time just builds up in here.
It seems like it's gonna collect Stuff.

Pocket crust is maybe my main concern more than [LAUGH] actual cracking screens.
What's the camera like?
Jeez!
All right, that's awesome.
And this is like legitimate camera.
I imagine there's a good chunk of hardware in there to get.
And the quality seems pretty solid.
This camera is really nice.
Dude, this camera is really cool, wow
Is just because it's bigger?
Yeah it's like a full, wow, dude.
Lots of people now use their phone as a camera, we use both, I use a camera and a phone.
I've got a small camera, but I wouldn't use it on an everyday basis for taking photos.
My kids do.
It's definitely like the, the perfect narcissist phone.
You get the better, the bigger screen for your selfies, right?

I could just look at myself all day with this screen, man.
Would you pay $1980 for this phone?
One thousand, wait what did you say?
$1980.
$2000.
No, no I would pay, I feel like this phone I would pay $800 to 1000.

I most certainly would.
It's unique, it's new It's like this brand new type of technology on this phone.
Would you pay $1980 for a phone that could fold?
No
No, no it's out of our range we're retired folks so.
For this right now?
Not even close?
[LAUGH] I don't think I would quite pay that much right now at least, but
Definitely a little further down the line to continue to iterate and drop that price down.
I could pay a little more I would imagine.
If Apple made something like it I would probably spend the money but I'm not an Android user.
So if Apple made this and it cost $2000 you would probably get it?
No.
I'm an impulse buyer.
So ask me when I [INAUDIBLE] not gonna happen.
I would not.
No, if Apple made a foldable iPhone, do you think you would be into that?
Actually, okay, so the thing is I feel like that if they made it, I feel like it would be pretty cool.
I guess it is obviously a fan boy thing, but Apple releases things later because they can perfect the technology.
To watch what Samsung will do.
Right?
And then they'll do it five years later better.
The finish on it feels a little makeup case-y for me.
I mean, I don't know if This is particular design option, but it feels nice.
You can tell that they spend some time making the design, pretty solid, probably not the phone to me though.
Well, to give it the chance, I'll get some like this.
This phone right here.
I think we're onto something.
I just don't think that it's been perfected yet.
And I would consider myself an expert in no fields.
I just want everybody to know that.
