[ Background music ] >> Bonnie Cha: Hi I'm Bonnie Cha Senior Editor at CNET.com and we're here in Las Vegas for CES 2010 and Palm has just introduced 2 new devices today: The Palm Pixie Plus and the Palm Pre Plus which will be available from Verizon on January 25th. The big new features for the Palm Pixie Plus is built in Wi-Fi which is a great addition and also as far as the Palm Pre Plus there are some design enhancements. They've gotten rid of the center adjuster button but you still have the adjuster area here. They've also revamped the keyboard a little bit and it's a lot more like the Pixie which is great, it has more tactile feedback and feels easier to use there's a bit more spacing as well. Other features of the Palm Pre Plus double the memory. You get 16 GB of flash memory; about 15 GB is available for the user. Also it's gonna ship with an inductive back cover so you can use a touchtone right out of the box you won't have to buy the extra back cover. Also 3D gaming. It's got a demo of Need for Speed and some other games that it looks really awesome on here, I'm really excited about that and I think gamers will be very excited to hear that. Also, coming to both devices with Web OS 1.4 is video recording edit and share so you'll be able to cut clips as well as share them post them to YouTube, Facebook, or send them to email and MMS and also exclusive to both devices this is a Verizon feature you can use it as a mobile hotspot. There will be a downloadable application at launch so you can use these as a Wi-Fi hotspot and connect up to 5 devices so very exciting. You will need a plan but great feature to have. Again both of these devices will be available January 25th from Verizon. Don't have pricing information right now but we're definitely looking forward to checking out these devices and I'm Bonnie Cha and this has been your first look at the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixie Plus.
