'Orange is the New Black' upcoming episodes may have leaked
New episodes of Orange is the New Black leaked.
A hacker using the handle The Dark Overlord claims to have put up ten episodes of the fifth season of Orange is the New Black online.
Netflix said it is aware of the situation, and a production vendor had its security compromised.
Netflix says its working with law enforcement on the issue.
The hacker contacted Netflix and said, they would not release the episodes, as long as Netflix paid a ransom.
In a statement since removed by Pastebin, someone claiming to be the dark overlord, said Netflix was unresponsive.
So they decided to release the episodes, after many lengthy discussions at the office where alcohol was present.
The Pastebin statement says the hack happened before the final three episodes made it to the production vendor.
The dark overload claims to have unreleased programs from several other networks including ABC, FOX, IFC, and National Geographic.
By the way, the full fifth season of the Orange is the New Black arrives on Netflix on June 9th.
