Under all the hacking news surrounding Sony and News of the World, McAfee revealed in an article on Vanity Fair a major hacking attack dubbed Operation Shady Rat.
According to the publication, more than 70 major government and private industry organizations have been hacked.
Countries like Japan, the UK, India, the US
and more have also been attacked.
And the attacks are heavily targeting defense contractors.
McAfee believes that the hacking operation is likely government-sponsored by China.
AT&T will release 3 new Blackberry devices running the new Blackberry OS7.
The Blackberry Torch 9810 aka The Torch 2, features 4G connectivity and of course retains the Torch's slide out keyboard.
Also revealed are the Blackberry Bold 9900 and the Blackberry Torch 9860.
These 2 phones are expected to be released later this
year.
The Bold 9900 will also get 4G and a thinner design while the Torch 9860 will likely be Research in Motion's first all touch screen phone.
According to a report from mobile security firm Lookout, Android users have seen a 2-1/2 times increase in malware.
In addition, mobile users have a 30% likelihood of clicking on a malicious link on both iPhone and Android platforms.
They estimate a half million people were affected by the Android malware in the first half of this year.
Joining the likes of the daily AOL is now
releasing a new iPad only daily magazine called Editions that is personalized to user's interest.
Users can choose from 15 topic categories like national news to music and culture.
Articles are laid out like a magazine and of course, there are built in social tools like sharing to Facebook or Twitter.
After pulling their iPad app yesterday for being prematurely released, Skype has finally rolled out its new iPad app.
New features include 2-way video calling with all Skype users, instant messaging, new contact list, easier navigation
and simpler SMS texting.
Twitter has announced that it has rolled out a new HTML 5 based Twitter.com for iPad.
Users should have access to the web app this week.
The web app takes its design cues from Twitter's own mobile sites and mobile apps.
The new Twitter for iPad web app also has been designed to be touch based.
