Hi.
My name is Dong Ngo for Cnet.com at CES 2012.
I have a couple of things here to show you.
The first thing is the Seagate's GoFlex (external drive?).
The is the mobile storage device that can connect your iPads or your tablets too and stream media from it but it's not new and the second thing here is the Verizon 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot that gives you the access internet anywhere you go and it's not new either.
But if you come by and see it together, there is something else that is completely new.
This is the new device from Seagate called the Personal 4G LTE Server.
This one is about the same size with GoFlex (external drive?) and our inside have a hard drive of 500 gigabyte and on the top here, you have a USB port that you can connect to the computer and put data on it but not here, you have a WiFi connection and also a 4G connection which connects to the internet.
Basically, this device brings you both the internet and the data on the go so you can access with your tablet.
We have here the Samsung Galaxy Tab which is already connected to this device by the WiFi network and we now have a 4G connection and we can actually access content from this drive right now and we see, we have the movie playing back and this is the WiFi connection between the two.
Now, let's try to browse the internet with the tablet.
So this device is under the development with Verizon and my guess is gonna be a very go for you to purchase this year even though that's not confirmed.
It will be priced probably the same as the price for the GoFlex (external drive?) and you would also have to pay for a subscription for the 4G LTE mobile plan.
Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this is the personal 4G LTE server from Seagate.
