Here at CES 2019 NVIDIA is remaking PC gaming with its latest RTX graphics card.
Now, that's most obvious in the dozens of new laptop that have the new mobile version of the RTX cards, For desktops, for couple of months now, you have been able to get the 2070, and the 2080 and even though it was kind of the worst kept secret in computing, we knew that laptop versions were coming.
They were not officially announced until just here at CES We're already seeing current laptops from HP's Omen line and Dell's Alienware brand adding the RTX cards and a whole bunch of bold new experimental designs from [UNKNOWN] and Acer and Razor and other companies.
For laptops, RTX 2060, 2070 and 2080 cards are gonna be available, both in their full power versions And Max-Q versions which are for thinner, lighter laptops that have to squeeze more performance into less space with decent cooling.
You'll be able to get an RTX laptop starting January 29th, but desktop gamers have not been left out, and video also announced the RTX 2060 desktop version, you can only get the 2070 or 2080 Before this, it very recently priced $350 and across the RTX line of both desktops and laptops, you're gonna see a lot of gameplay performance improvements especially in terms of reflections and ray tracing and even AI aided super sampling for greater detail.
And all those little mixing crannies and [UNKNOWN] all over your games.
