-I'm excited to announce that Xbox One will launch this November in 21 markets around the world at $499 in the U.S., 499 euros in European markets and 429 pounds in the UK.
I'm happy to be here today to show you how the next generation of games gets even better with Xbox Live.
So, let's take a look at how SmartGlass makes experiences deeper.
How our new Smart Match gets you in the games faster, how epic moments are captured with game DVR and all new options for editing, sharing and broadcasting your gameplay.
To start, I'd like to welcome Ashton, one of our great Community Managers on Xbox Live, to take us on a quick tour of the Next-generation SmartGlass with the game Ryse: Son of Rome.
-Thanks, Mark.
Glad to be here.
-With SmartGlass natively built-in to Xbox One, many of the actions
you could take on your console can now be done directly from any SmartGlass device.
You can start a single player game, you can set up and launch multiplayer, you can locate your achievements, you can purchase in-game add-ons and much more.
-And this is one of my favorite Ryse features, the timeline, an all-encompassing glimpse of the level in play.
It gives a snap shot of what's happening around me including the status of my friends, their highlights and gameplay hints.
Here you can see my friend Robi1 who I've been playing against.
He's not further into the game than I am.
And here, I can get instant real time stat comparisons.
It's easy for me to see all of his details on one page.
Here I can see the leaderboards, achievements and even view any game DVR clip recordings he makes public.
-You can see that as Ashton plays, the timeline is changing dynamically to show recommended tips all relevant for a progress in the game and before playing Ryse, Ashton set her criteria for multiplayer with a different game.
Because of the new Smart Match system, she's able to play Ryse
while her next match is being set up in the background, and Smart Match goes to a deeper level to match base on your skill, your language and your reputation.
-Xbox, join match.
-All right.
Here we go.
Please welcome Torin, he's been matched to play against Ashton in a Killer Instinct battle.
This is gonna get interesting.
For those of you who don't know, Torin is the producer for Killer Instinct and he's bought out the new Tournament Edition Mad Catz FightStick, which will be available at the launch of Killer Instinct.
Good luck, Ashton.
Come on, Ashton.
Bring it.
Nice, Torin.
All right.
I think that one is safe.
-Exactly what I was thinking.
Xbox Upload Studio.
What's awesome is my game is automatically recorded by game DVR.
So, I'll just take a few seconds and put my own personal staff on to recording.
-Torin is using the new Upload Studio by Xbox, where he can easily curate, edit, share and publish gaming videos right from Xbox One.
Within
seconds, Torin can personalize his recorded win by adjusting the timing, recording commentary with Kinect and choosing a skin to put a thematic wrapping around his epic moment.
And now, it's shared out from the Cloud with all of my friends.
-Xbox, resume game.
Oh, hey, Torin, do you know what a shark is?
-Xbox, broadcast.
-I'm proud to announce a new partnership with Twitch.
Now, for the first time, enabled with Kinect and
connected to the Cloud, all of your gameplay experiences can be shared with more than 35 million unique viewers, Twitch is one of the most popular destinations to view live streaming games and now, Twitch has built in the Xbox One so you can instantly broadcast your gameplay.
With Kinect, your voice and video become part of the live experience and as a viewer on Xbox Live, it's even more interesting as you have the ability to actually participate and impact the game.
You've seen how Xbox One makes
