>> Hi, I'm Kent German, senior editor here at CNET.com. Today we're going to take a first look at the Motorola Razr V3M. This is the new version of the Razr V2M for Sprint service. For a long time Sprint didn't pick up the Razr, preferring to have its own thin phones from Samsung, but now we're finally getting the Razr after almost two years it came out. From the outside you can see it looks very much like all the other Razrs. It is a tiny bit bigger than the original Razr V3. But like the Razr V3M for Verizon, has a great color. It also comes in red as well for Sprint only though. Has the basic same design though. External display, camera lens here on the top with no flash. Here on the side you do have a volume rocker, a voice dialing key when the phone is open and here on this side you have a dedicated camera button. One thing we're not in love with the Razr V3M is a memory card slot is a little difficult to get to. See it's here on the back behind the battery cover, but you actually have to remove the battery as well, so it is a little thing. You have to turn off the phone, take out the battery, pull out the memory card, turn it back on and vice versa. We'd really love it if you could place it on the side as other thin phones have done. Instead we have a very Razr like design as well. Not a whole lot of changes. One thing that we did like though, is Sprint does have its own menus on the phone. We're not in love with Motorola's kind of stochy menu interface. It looks a little old now and we're definitely not in love with Verizon standard menu interface. Keypad buttons, like with the Razr V3M for Verizon, there is a bit more texture on the keys, have a little bit more definition between the individual rows over the, especially the original Razr V3. But again it is that flat keypad, can take some acclimation if you're not used to it. Overall though, features are very similar to Verizon's Razr V3M, have EVDO support, expect of course they're supporting Sprint's 3G services and the Sprint Music Store. Also have Bluetooth, speaker phone and your basic organizer applications. I'm Kent German and this is the Motorola Razr V3M for Sprint.
