>> I am Nicole Lee, associate editor for
cnet.com and this is a first look at the Motorola
Quantico from US Cellular. The Quantico is clad
in a hard plastic shell as well as a texturized
rubber surface and is military certified to
withstand dust, shock, fog, water, and a variety
of other environmental hazards. On the front you
do get a 1.6 inch external color display. Above
that you do get the 1.3 mega pixel camera. You
also get the external speaker right there. On
the back there is the battery cover of course it
is very securely locked with this rotating
locking mechanism. Underneath that you do get
the micro SD card slot. Open it up you do get a
very nice 2-inch display here. Underneath that
you do get the typical navigation controls.
Underneath that you do get the number keypad
which is very roomy and all the keys are raised
above the surface for easy texting and dialing.
Features of the phone include the aforementioned
1.3 mega pixel camera. There is also a camcorder
on here. You get the typical text and multimedia
messaging of course. You also get a music
player, and a GPS giving turn by turn directions
as well as blue tooth. The Motorola Quantico is
available from US Cellular for around $100 with a
two year service agreement. I am Nicole Lee this
has been the first look at the Motorola Quantico.
