YouTube has a dimmer switch that gets rid of the distracting elements on the page so you can easily focus on the video you're trying to watch. The problem is not all the videos have it. The one I'm looking at here doesn't. Here's a quick tip for putting an even better dimmer switch on almost every YouTube video. Thanks to Josh Lowensohn from CNET's Webware for this tip. Head over to Addons.mozilla.org, and search for YouTube Cinema. Press add to Firefox, and follow the prompts to install an add-on. Then restart Firefox. You'll now see any embeddable YouTube video on a colored background. You can even choose your background color, though you'll have to reload the video to make it take effect. And you can switch between small, four by three, and large, sixteen by nine. That's it' for this quick tip. I'm Tom Merritt, CNET.com. ^M00:00:53
