>> I'm Nicole Lee, Associate editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the LG Rumor Touch from Sprint. The LG Rumor Touch is the first touch screen phone in the LG Rumor line of messaging handsets. So yes, this phone is a touch screen phone and a messaging phone. It's a nice three inch display right here and it slides out to reveal a full QUERTY keyboard as well. On the front here is a nice three inch display like we mentioned. It's very nice and colorful. Underneath that you do get the back key, the home key as well as the call key. On the side here you do get the power key as well as the screen lock key, the headset jack as well as the microSD card slot. On the other side you get the volume rocker as well as the camera key. On the back here is the two mega pixel camera lens. The LG Rumor Touch has a very interesting user interface. You might not see anything here in the home screen. But if you get a new incoming voicemail or new incoming text message you will see a little bubble on the top corner right here. So all you do is tap it and you will reveal a bubble user interface which displays all your incoming text messages in bubble form. Along the bottom row of the screen here is the shortcut to the main menu. The main menu is listed in the list style form which you can populate with your own shortcuts. The contacts list in the LG Rumor Touch comes with a Halo UI or a Halo user interface. The Halo UI lets you organize your contacts into four different groups as you can see here. And this lets you do some very interesting things. First of all you can just organize them however you want, in a grid or whatever you want. You can also do something called a lasso technique which lets you like circle a whole bunch of contacts in one group and lets you send a group text message. So this way it's very easy to keep in contact with your friends. Pry the phone open, you get a full five row QUERTY keyboard. So you get one row just for numbers. As you can see here, the keys are very spacious. And they are raised above the surface for easy texting and dialing. Features of the phone include the aforementioned two mega pixel camera and camcorder. It also has GPS's Sprint Navigation and support. It also has EV-DO Rev 0 which gives you access to Sprint TV and Sprint Music as well. Other features of the phone include stereo Bluetooth as well as access to social networking services like Facebook and Twitter. The LG Rumor Touch also has mobile e-mail as well as threaded text messaging. The LG Rumor Touch is available right now for around $80 with a two year service agreement from Sprint. I'm Nicole Lee this has been a first look at the LG Rumor Touch.
