Lenovo's new smart display looks to follow in the Nest Hub's footsteps
Lenovo has a trio of new devices with Google systems built in here at EFA in Berlin.
First up, the Lenovo smart display seven.
This guy has a seven inch screen.
It's a smart display much like the Google Nest hub and the Lenovo smart display.
The trimmed-down form factor is similar to Google's popular Nest Hub.
And Lenovo adopted this RGB light sensor, which will help adapt ambient-mode pictures to the color quality of the room, and that's one of our favorite features of that Nest Hub.
And it still has the same user interface that we've come to enjoy from their smart displays in the past.
You'll be able to swipe through to a Smart Home control panel.
You'll be able to see restaurant recommendations and pictures and of course access Google assistant with a voice command to ask about the weather or check on your smart home or do anything else you might be able to do with Google Home Mini A smart speaker.
Lenovo also put the speaker on the bottom in this one to create more of a stereo sound and they have two five watt speakers, and I've been promised it sounds great, Even better than the Lenovo smart display 10.
Next up Lenovo has two tablets with google assistant built in.
The yoga smart tab and the smart tab m8.
Both of them function just like ordinary tablets complete with Android Oreo, meaning you can take them with you on the go.
You can download apps, send emails.
But when you're not using them, you can dock them.
Or in the case of the Yoga Smart Tab, kick out this kickstand and that activates this smart screen in which Google Assistant is listening for your voice commands.
Notice the Dart screen isn't quite the same as on the smart display.
This is similar to the mobile interface for Google Assistant, but you'll still be able to give voice commands, you'll still be able to tap and see a smart home control panel.
So you still get a lot of that functionality, even if it's not quite as customized.
For a touchscreen as a smart display.
The yoga smart tab is going to cost to 50.
When it comes out in September, the smart tab MH is 120 and due out in October finally that smart display with a seven inch screen is gonna be $130 the same price as the nest hub and that's due out in October as well
