Lenovo says more Moto Mods are coming.
Moto Mods are add-on accessories for Moto Z phones.
These accessories attach to the back of Moto Z phones using strong magnets.
Current Mods include the Hasselblad camera add-on that brings 10X optical zoom.
Another module adds a projector function to Moto Z phones.
Lenovo owns the Moto brand.
The company purchased Motorola Mobility from Google back in 2014 for approximately $2.91 billion.
Lenovo says it will release at least 12 new Moto Mods each year.
However, it counts its year from April to April, so more mods should start hitting the market in the second quarter of 2017.
Details on future mods are sparse.
Lenovo showed CNET a prototype mod.

Lenovo will launch an Indiegogo campaign in January aiming to get developers on board.
The company will provide certain developers with a kit.
It includes hardware and software to build their own prototype model devices.
Right now there are 5 variance of the motor SD the modes are compatible with all of them.
