We are here at CES 2019.
Today we are with ZOTAC, a company that's been making gaming hardware since 2006.
This is the MEK Mini.
This their first experiment in downsizing.
And it's certainly They're smallest gaming PC, quite possibly the world's smallest gaming desktop PC.
This thing is compact.
There are gaming laptops that weigh more.
The Zotac rep told me that it's 9.71 liters, whatever that converts to.
Frankly, you don't get to see too many things that are cute at CES This thing is, and it's small, lightweight, and, I'd say, portable.
But the specs are the real deal.
You get an RTX 2070 GPU and an Intel Core i7 8700 socketed CPU.
This thing has killer AC WiFi and ethernet with packet prioritization, a variety of USB ports There's a bunch of USB-C ports.
They're all over this thing.
And so how does Zotac keep it cool?
How about 270 degrees of ventilation.
There's air intake at the bottom and on the side, exhaust on the top and the rear, there's just airflow all over the place.
The Mac-Mini is coming out at the end of Q1 at about $1500.
This first model will not be configurable, but there may be additional options down the road.
Bottom line, this thing looks pretty cool.
Massive power in a tiny, pretty package.
