iPhone 7 Plus sells out, Galaxy Note 7 formally recalled

The latest iPhones are available but in short supply at Apple Stores.
Before the official launch, Apple announced it's sold out of the jet black iPhone 7 and all iPhone 7 Plus models.
Walk-in customers will not be able to get those models in store if they did not pre-order.
Online ordering is still possible but shipping could take several weeks.
According to data research from Splice Intelligence, 55% of those pre-ordered iPhones chose the plus model.
The US consumer products safety condition is formally recalling the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 due to burn and fire hazard.
Samsung received 92 reports of the phone overheating in the US.
Owners of the Note 7 can request a refund a new Galaxy Note 7 or a different device The new version of the Note 7 will hit stores by September 21st.
The Amazon Echo and Echo Dot will be available in the UK and Germany.
The Cloud connected speakers were previously available only in the U.S. Amazon also introduced a new, cheaper version of the Echo Dot.
The device costs $50.
Amazon is also selling Echo Dots in 6 and 12-packs.
