It looks like something out of Star Wars, this silver orb is the Insta360 Pro a camera that makes stereoscopic or 3D 360.
THat means when you're viewing video or still in the headset you can see the depth effect.
It shoots 8K stills, 6K videos and 4K slow motion at 100 frames per second.
There's also live streaming support and digital image stabilization.
The camera has onboard controls but all settings can be tweaked through the desktop or phone app.
You'll get around one hour of recording time from the battery depending on your shooting settings.
Now you might be thinking that there are a lot of other pro 360 cameras with similar features, but one of the big differences is that this one does Stereoscopic 360 relatively cheaply at $3,500.
Image stitching and processing is all done in camera, but you can grab those six separate images from the lenses to stitch together yourself.
We compared this same video from the in-camera stitch to the high quality stitch using the company's software, and they do look pretty similar For audio, there are four mics on the camera, but it's not spacial.
So, for that, you're going to want to plug in an external mic.
