-Hey everyone, I'm Bonnie Cha, Senior Editor at CNET.com, and we're here in Barcelona, Spain, for Mobile World Congress, and you've got your first look of the HTC Desire S.
This is the successor to the Desire and it is a beautiful-looking device.
It's made out-- it has an aluminum body.
It feels really solid in the hand, very premium feel to it.
On front, you've got a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and, again, very gorgeous, very sharp, and responsive.
On front, you've got a front-facing camera for video calls.
There's also a camera on back that can record HD video.
It is running Android 2.3 at the moment and includes HTC Sense, which includes some of the features like the Leap screen here where you can see all the home screens.
It's also running on a 1 gigahertz Snapdragon processor and just playing around with the phone a little bit, it does feel very fast.
So, this is all about high-- high-end design and performance.
Availability date for US, there's no word on that yet, but they will launch in Europe and Asia in Q2.
The HTC Desire did come to the US through US Cellular.
So, hopefully, some of the other carriers will pick it up 'cause we really like the Desire, and the Desire S looks very promising as well.
I'm Bonnie Cha and this has been your first look at the HTC Desire S.
