The dropdown notification menu in iOS is nothing new to iPhone and iPad users but after update to iOS 7, you may be in for quite a surprise.
Apple revamped its notification center in its latest iOS update allowing the feature to now be accessed from the lock screen.
Just as before a simple swipe down from the top of the phone will reveal the new notification center.
You will see that Apple added 3 columns: Today, All, and Missed.
The Today
column displays information from your calendar, stocks, and reminders, while the All column shows app notifications and the Missed column will highlight any missed phone calls.
These columns can be customized by entering settings and selecting the notification center option.
You can rearrange some of the Today view categories by tapping the Edit button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
