Facebook is great, well, sometimes.
Lately, it seems like everyone is inviting us to play a game of Candy Crush or they're inviting us to some weird event.
It's time to put an end to all of this.
I'm Dan Graziano, and in today's How To, I'm going to show you how you can block people, apps, and invites on Facebook.
Whether it's an ex, an old friend, or maybe a creepy stalker, they can quickly be blocked in the privacy shortcuts menu.
You'll find this by clicking on the lock icon next to the notification globe and selecting the how do I stop someone from bothering me option.
Then just enter the person's name or email address and they will be unable to view your profile message you or see comments you leave on other profiles.
They will also be unfriended if you were previously friends with them, but maybe blocking this person is a little too harsh.
If you enter the Settings menu and click on the Blocking tab you will find even more options.
From here you can add friends to a Restricted List that will only show them posts you make public.
And you can also block things like event and app invites from a specific user.
Perhaps the most useful feature is the ability to block certain apps.
Simply type the name of the app you would like to block, and just like that, it will be gone.
The app will no longer be able to access your Facebook information, and you will no longer receive those annoying invites.
Now you can go Facebook in peace, Well at least until someone tags you in an unflattering photo.
