Holo Cube: Hellraiser puzzle box, or clever AR/VR toy?

It looks kind of like the puzzle box from Hell Raiser, but it's actually hollow cube. Merge VR, who made an affordable pair of VR headsets that work with iPhone and Android last year, now have a phone block with AR markers all over it. It becomes an augmented reality toy or a VR toy when you look through it with the merge VR app If you put on goggles, it suddenly becomes Pac Man or a Minecraft block, or if you see here using the phone app directly, you can suddenly make it animate and transform. Kind of fun and considering it only cost about $20 when it comes out by the summer, AR can work on your regular phone and merge VR showing that that can be done. I wouldn't expect a whole lot more with Hollow Cube But if you consider it, the whole package cost a lot less, than high end gear. It might keep your kid entertained for a while. And the Hollow Cube is soft foam so if you don't really like it, you can always throw it against a wall. [MUSIC]
