Hi, guys.
This is Brian Bennett for CNET and we are at CES 2014 and we're taking a first look at some of the devices we've seen from Alcatel before.
They're available globally but we're actually finding out that these two devices are coming to the Canadian market.
The first device here is the Alcatel One Touch Idol X and the other is the One Touch Idol Mini.
So the Idol X has an
Octa-Core processor.
It's much faster.
It has a lot of, you know, horsepower to power through its Android Jellybean software.
On the other hand, the Idol Mini has a dual-core processor which isn't as fast but you get some of the, you know, compact styling and more pocket ability that the Idol X doesn't have.
Now we've seen these devices at other shows like Mobile World Congress before and they're also available globally right now, but they're coming to the Canadian market within the next
few months.
As far as pricing goes, we don't know how much they'll cost.
But we do know that they are mid-tier products which will be relatively affordable, so hopefully will not break your bank or bust your budget.
