Google builds superfast internet cable built between US and Japan

The faster [UNKNOWN] has activated a trans-pacific internet cable.
The group is made up of six companies including Google.
KDDI and Singtel.
The Cable spans from Oregon to Japan, and the connection allows speeds of up to 60 Terabits per second.
Google gets 10 terabits per second all to itself.
Google will use the cable to connect its data centers.
Can you believe it's almost been a year since Windows 10 was released?
Well, you should, cuz it's true.
Anyway, Microsoft announced its Windows 10 anniversary update will arrive on August 2nd.
The update will include an improved Cortana on Windows, Microsoft's Edge web browser will offer better battery life and extension support.
The Xbox One will gain Cortana commands.
Those PCs and the Xbox will get Xbox play anywhere.
That will let you start certain games on an Xbox One and continue them on a Windows 10 PC and vice-versa.
Amazon has a new deal for Prime subscribers, discounted Android phones.
Ads on the lockscreen.
The ads will appear full screen on your lockscreen, unless you get a notification.
If you have a notification, the ad will get smaller.
Amazon is selling two phones with its special offers.
The blue R1 HD and the 4th generation Moto G. Amazon is also preloading these phones with Amazon apps.
Google apps are also included because these are full Android phones, they do not run Amazon Fire OS.

Facebook slide-shows come to the Facebook iOS app.
The feature was already in Facebook's moments photo-sharing app.
Speaking of Facebook, the company is killing its paper app, who will no longer be useable after July 29th.
A Telegraph report says Google is in talks with mobile carriers to introduce its own Google branded phones.
And Google revealed Android N will be called Android Nougat, but not telling how to pronounce that.
Is it new-gat, new-gut, new-git?
Android N it is, I don't know.
