First things first, clean your lens.
In your pockets and in your hands, the camera can pick up smudges and grime.
So before you shoot a photo, make sure you to use a 100% cotton shirt or microfiber cloth to clean the lens and insure crisp Clean photos.
Capturing photos quickly is important but, whenever you can, focus on your subject.
All that takes is a quick tap on the screen and the camera will adjust to make sure the subject is sharp.
On the iPhone and some Androids, you can even tap and hold to lock the focus, in case you move around and re-compose the shot.
Finally, don't forget the rule of thirds.
Using the grid in your camera app, experiment with placing subjects along the grid line, or on the intersection where the lines meet.
This means not putting a person, or landmark int he middle of the frame which will give your photos more visual appeal.
