Frigidaire fridge provides a peek inside as you step close

[MUSIC] Fancy fridges with features like big screens and transparent windows are all the rage these days. Frigidaire plans to jump into this game with its new professional glass refrigerator. This $2700 appliance is made to mimic the look of big restaurant fridges used by culinary pros. What sets this machine apart though is a large glass pane on its main door. Equipped with motion sensors, the smoky glass switches from opaque to clear when you step up close to it. That way, you'll be able to see inside without opening the door. At the moment the glass door feature is only planned for the fridge unit of the professional glass. Refrigerator. For instance, you won't be able to have the same sort of function on the freezer component of the appliance. Additionally, you'll have to purchase the freezer and refrigerator section separately. That said, each part is a standard width and depth so, hopefully, you won't have to remodel your kitchen to accommodate the product. Expect this fridge to hit the market by April of 2017. [MUSIC]
