Ford has now made it even harder to tame the fuzz.

The police Interceptor Utility, based on the Ford Explorer SUV, Has a new low profile LED bar that lets the cops cruise incognito.
The red and blue lights sit right near the sun visor inside the cabin, integrated where the headline and windshield meet.
They're designed to be outside of the driver's field of vision, so that a) it doesn't obstruct the view, and b) obviously, you don't see it.
For those of us who like to read the spec sheet, the lights have auto dimming capabilities, programmable brightness options, and a special bright white take down mode which pretty much does exactly what it says.
So if you've been collecting tickets like they're going out of style, maybe start honing that eagle eye.
