The power of parallel Kindle fire gets -- and flash is dead. All that more on this week this episode of Android atlas weekly for November ninth 20:11 and -- -- just a cast alongside the turning. Antuan Goodwin and back. Welcome. Audi near color coordinated with your agency -- happened in an accident or. I believe that there's issues there there ointment three in the Newton but -- leader of the same -- that were every single day amplitude and -- All right well. I'll just move yet -- definitely best for -- let's talk about something else that. It is somewhat related to -- In the Superman kind of way -- -- -- really mean you look at that now where -- written callow. Through in the eyes -- customers -- -- and it. -- That's nonsense are -- let's talk about the new tegra three CPU. Previously known as callow yet -- -- Com. -- should -- be the first Quad Core processor. On the market -- here's my problem with that is. Yet it's called tegra three if there -- -- wouldn't let me -- estuary was dual core he would ask -- tegra three is I wouldn't. If someone would. They would. Wonder what happened to the missing. It's actually not -- so it has five CPU cores and twelve GPU cores yet so it's not Quad -- added I'm in -- here's. How it works is this. There are as far CPU -- -- was there are the four. Not how -- power CPU cores and in its core called the companion core. Now what the undefeated there's a video floating around on on on Nvidia's YouTube's -- -- kind of explains how this works. But when you're doing things like you know just sitting on the home screen flipping between devices in and -- win win. That the devices idling. That low power companion quarry is basically what handling things like background processes at its low power so it's good for conserving battery life. When you starting -- -- those of you were watching the video seen in a couple seconds. Does the four cores -- to life tool out yet to start quickly. So for example when you -- the photo app. You know for course spring elected just you know -- the app to snap alive -- than once -- back to idling. Those four -- go back to sleep. For power saving in that low power companion core takes back over for things like just viewing a JPEG image clever so. Normally I think we say specs them hearing. New -- out of middlemen. -- but I think to me what matters with this is not a silly as it it's much much faster bit that it actually uses up to 61% less power. The Nvidia tegra two right -- more cordless power which is opposite of what we thought would happen but now when we knew we pink. You know when when we first heard about Quad Core -- the ripping and I didn't care -- -- Our it's like they're only really kicking in the high power when you need it so. If you do you know for the majority a day when you're just you -- Tweet box cat you check your email it and that companion corporate there's gonna be doing about -- ED percent of the -- them. DJ -- but then when you fire up a game three game or when you live a guest presumably start editing media. That's when done them -- main course of spring to life and dad. And kind of take over do you think -- -- CPUs are nice but what -- products variant C this. -- well Eric Franklin and -- next little. Article over on Andrea -- at CNET com. About the Asus transformer. Prime. Which is that again. The greatest bad name ever for me but gives immunity decent speeds -- in there somewhere and paint it red and I'll be happy. But this is gonna be the first. Device the first tablet the -- takes advantage of the tegra three processor. And diets and looks to be treaty. Pretty beefy hardware. Gets pretty beefy but it's also lighter and thinner than the iPad -- to. And so we don't know exactly when is coming out sometime in December. Is sort of the rumors. -- terrorism -- I'm not exactly sure on the release date has been to his times Google inspects. Yet it's it's pretty cool. Com. But -- this isn't the only temple. Use -- initially use of this a new CPU it's who also potentially be in a phone. We have with the increase in battery life it -- definitely. -- ranked for the cramming into a phone. Canada and I'm not sure if those. That's twelve and a GPU cores there. There will come within our if they did they -- how much different -- I'm not sure that the the way that the dead though the wording of the article that I read about it with the little. Little iffy on that it said that says that -- -- to be joined by I don't know that tiger to ship. Is is that the five -- court and the GPU -- -- can be broken apart I would hope that it all has come together. And that 16% battery life is for the whole -- and brutal. -- we would we -- we have an article saying that he added there's been leaked images and leaked specs. For the -- TC edge which could be the words world's first Quad Core alone. That's best looking phone it fits all real. Until like four of those one point five gigahertz processors. Sentence when he Steve -- which you know it's. Four and a -- four point seven inches to kind of on the big. The B and now even even Ehrlich phones now four point seven -- is getting really close to the galaxy -- -- Yet so this phone -- according to Jessica. Though court and who wrote this article based on some pocket now information. Says it's a lot like the HTC resound. -- Though we shouldn't expect to see it until sometime next year ray who knows -- In his I was hoping we'll see at CES and yes possibly. And as they were also in the sea ice cream sandwich on the list to use these new phones it should be. Now one of the then the next HTC phones to come out with ice cream sandwich are exposed to upgrade it -- with it and -- Our -- asking now running and ask you later in the show -- for the break if you're still set on the idea. Galaxy nexus. OK or this phone or the other -- -- later maybe -- Aren't so. There was other big news this week and that whether it's. The new nook tablet. The new new new new new new. A -- announce this that it. For forestry or. A hub to candidate for the -- -- tablet guests can aimed at the Kindle fire. It really looks remarkably similar and I think the reason that and you really can't exit that -- that by it was just a new color -- the same thing I'd go. But the deal -- just yet. I mean we have talked about this for a couple weeks you know since the can -- came out that the -- was more expensive -- that. You know they really had to step it up with the next. Note that came out you and so my question is -- -- Canada's first of all it's fifty dollars more than the Kindle fire it again. Com. And it's true -- let's compare some respects because -- if you look at the specs it's you know. It has more ram it has more storage and has removal storage -- Nam. -- else's house. A lot of the stuff that is pretty similar. You know they both have flash they both have browsers and there was -- brief period of time -- you know this week. Com when they announce the knock. The ecosystem looks stronger because -- like it spaceship with pandora and Netflix. Around -- -- and Hulu. And then today. And -- -- came out instead Doerr about it -- it you know. Ours is gonna product do you -- a total loss that ecosystem advantage that they have for. Three days before. That it actually either one of them was released. -- that. Did do those -- mattered to people care about -- have added the ring hammer storage. Well I mean I think again fifty dollars more. Is the nominal amount when you -- a better expects a -- -- yet that the thing about. I think 199 as the match price -- it's a magic price yet but you know if if you if you tell somebody you -- nearly twice the memory twice the ram. For fifty bucks more. I think there are people who Gillick LE island accents a -- -- what what I'm saying is that the Kindle still has. Via the the magic. -- the Smart on that if Amazon prime rate. I'm as busy now with the lending new -- -- of books you know that the Amazon prime video streaming -- I have the it is managed that you gates. Just. With cracker going to be ban on Amazon anyway -- as -- as. Enter your. -- I agree I AM there are skeptical about -- -- long term success here. But Amazon isn't sitting still and just -- like hey we've got it right. They are potentially prep team and this isn't really huge news necessarily -- have more slightly different rumors this time a new Kindle fire before. In -- fires even actually available or citizenship until the middle this month this department -- com. So -- the fire not shipping at that. Originally there are rumors of -- Brown with a ten inch version you know these new rumors -- From Digi times -- that maybe they're gonna mouth eight point nine inch version instead. And that maybe that would cost or between 249 and 299. Disease is the difference between two -- -- -- seven -- -- -- point nine inches of them out to eggs and -- is diagonal so it's bigger than you think. Does that changed the game at all for you. -- -- -- And especially eight point and the weird splitting -- that we ties. You know because -- you it's what's it with two competing at that point it's kind of smaller than the current crop of the of them. Regular sized tablets rate -- mean ten inches about. -- -- you'd expect to regular tablet ala iPad competitor to be earning record of them so -- point nine yes it's still smaller. But then it's just kind of just big enough that you can't seven into a cargo -- Is that we're gonna do with the Kindle though and albums like you know -- -- them -- you know of course you wouldn't really show of regular Kindle buyer took -- apartment but if you want it to its. Kind of like that that racial portability were just look inability to tennis -- and a bag. Sort of unit -- -- with one hand still slightly too big for. To carry around in your -- -- -- pocket so -- -- -- of the tenants yet -- that way way more valuable for movies for example. Yet and that I think you know there's only like what one point one -- one point one inch difference diagonal. Between any point nine in -- ten -- device but it. You know if you see them side by side of the -- and and knows it they're very -- it -- -- -- -- -- see -- side -- sounds shelters in and you're probably gonna think to yourself. And bigger screens better if if if it's kind of late by AT. Where and -- -- -- -- gravitate towards the big screen. -- so better. Besides that -- had no. Reader has the bigger screen I guess there's you know a bunch of Paper tablets that -- Answer my question here on and -- is. Non will either these tablets start to get apps. Video apps like that at -- there's the standards like Netflix and Hulu -- that but what about from the networks such as. Our -- CBS. We don't have an iPad app for. CBS. Video this is -- but. NBC says ABC does HBO go to as -- those guys gonna -- ported to Android. -- are becoming an indispensable laps for a lot of people in the IOS because system. Yeah I mean pouring injury -- you know I think steel and seeing a lot of developers. You know developing for IOS in the importing and buried. -- 63 months later. Yes he's a lot with the GPS that many factors related to go yet we we have an app for iPad and -- -- rhododendron ago working on. So I -- -- I still think that the -- that is. It yet and out out -- out first but I would not be surprised to hear that HBO for example is already work in on something Brian Android. As just I think it's just a matter of I think a lot of them are kind of scared of the openness and the you know latest -- -- Netflix came out it only worked on certain devices -- anyone to control the experience -- -- within -- within a week it was that cracked in available. -- -- you -- they move pretty aggressively to get it out on a lot of devices yet but I mean had they not they would have happened anyway and I think you know you you can't help but think that. You're HBO's you're CBS's here -- BCs are looking. At what's happening there and going like can -- protect their content here. And and I think maybe that's what's taking them. What take into making them take. A couple months longer because they entered Android isn't standard is priced hardware and hear them and follow at least they're seeing the sort of like you know who we just at the beginning we were seeing these partnerships were displayed. You can stream like Hulu video but only on a -- the two processors. Greg. -- let me ask you questions. Okay will your next phone be -- Droid for. I don't know -- it's the -- are you going with this. There has been rumors that -- Droid four will come out in time for the holidays. And that it's gonna look and elect. You know some gallery -- here. Bottom of the story. You know it looks kind of like a slick Motorola RAZR is clean. Yet it does look like the -- -- -- added a keyboard onto the bottom of the reasoner. I am Adam -- maintained -- the reader is really thin. But I mean if if it ended kind of they had at a couple millimeters -- -- keyboard it would still be. -- -- re still is monitoring your phone yet has been -- steeped in battery pack. To the -- roared to BAU. But. Dual core. One point two gigahertz. Foreign super amoled display LTE Android 2.3. Five -- launched eight megapixel camera 1080. HDMI out. To basically use your standard -- -- for an equity -- -- -- do you miss -- OG sure -- I do. And I mean of people kind of complained about -- the the build quality of injury phones. I will mean that injury but Motorola phones over the last couple generations I think that that three to global. Do you know going from the street went to the street to -- the more plasticky. Feeling a lighter -- phone and and via their term in very few phones feel solid in hand ray as the eye injury -- one did. And a -- if this phone feels a solid in the hand. And as the trade wine and in in you know it'd be nice if in you to differentiate this from the -- in the bionic Motorola. I didn't -- blur on it it's. You know like a phone decides that they respect for the keyword. I did is definitely tempting but we don't really have -- rumors to go now. And a safe bet for is still at in my opinion at this point that galaxy nexus as the Tories under future -- I agree with you. But I at the it would be nice I mean since the original jury and I have not seen. And since sounds horrible oil like Motorola and I love my original -- but -- No one loves their Motorola phones these days the team here at the end of a unit work -- library -- drive me crazy. I don't know in -- -- -- a jury at the original Droid was -- standard phone again and it was just so. I don't know revolutionary. For me. That. I loved it at the time until I hated it -- -- until you needed. Well until they started at least get a Haiti's solo thing to write this one -- new on -- But I mean -- they'll have -- believe it it's at home on airplane mood right now. -- -- -- -- Com all right we're gonna take a quick break. And then we have some shocking news -- -- were SS. Guess what quiet. Steve Jobs as compact but it can build -- Too soon. Too soon. Let's get a little hospitals cut that out and -- on -- guess what it won't -- there -- rumors this morning. That to a alone. -- -- I guess last night that Adobe was going to stop developing flash for mobile phones. And this morning Adobe confirmed it much to my shock. Though it what it have you had enough time to take this similarly think in here I'm world to be honest guy and as for my personal use cases and and on this podcast you hear a lot of -- -- about. When I -- personally. But I never used flash anyway. So who. You know average is new though like so in the night and went on to the next thing -- but I think a lot of users do. Due to kind of depend on line now on -- nexus labs site today like. To do things like stream music from. You know certain. -- in certain web sites that have invaded music players and what and I knew -- in there are people who kind of prefer. The the mobile win flash experience of YouTube for example for -- via the entering -- So -- and I would say more then zapped. What I Iowa miss class for is just going to a restaurant web site. That determine your summary is a class tonight's -- cedar menu you know just like write -- a letter and -- look -- their crap together. Just how are you do when people do win our our sixteenth year -- that. And send them a letter and just go like I tried to go to your web site. And read your menu but I don't know what your food costs will not be recording your restaurant anymore and you're all idiots yet don't forget that you are your only idiots as. Just because -- too hazardous Pritchard menu and blast right and then via the view that Adobe fan boys -- -- that's what I'm gonna do I mean that you that when a rescue PDF only. Just email them good the little lake contact -- at the bottom link it is late Kiki not -- of menu in PDF -- academic apart from need. -- -- -- -- -- So this is really instincts mean so what is happening is they're gonna stop development of flash from mobile phones and tablets I guess. You know -- on desktop flash -- They're gonna focus on air apps which is kind of underline use flash but there perhaps packaged. Has native -- apps you can develop in flash or error has it. News as it were -- -- was. And packages -- not as a native Iowa sooner and greater playbook now com. So it's you know distilled. Continuing that technology just not as of -- -- and web thing. And more focusing on its MO five and overall it's not asleep -- -- because. It'll make. Really much if any money at all launches that front end of flash they make money on the development tools -- And they're just as happy to sell HT MO five development tools rate. Com so they you know I think for Adobe -- ages go with whatever. Is going to be the adopted standards. You're -- wonder. About the whole concept of as discrete in air applications. As disliked did you think that -- you know -- -- release on the mobile. Mobile sort of depending on how they do this that you -- -- of like a ton of redundant code on your boat. Like when you install air on your old computer by installer on my laptop and and I. I basically you know -- installed -- -- air app and then to another air apps and windows apps will call line. That one in you know and Adobe air installation. Path for like shared code for things like rendering -- -- But then if you develop -- discrete apps for mobile phone you can't really talents might have done that -- -- -- independent rendering engine on your phone like nine times like there and really seem like that. The most efficient way to -- some thing. -- -- I can argue with that community I think it is by definition any time you're not developing. In the native code do you -- platform it is not the most efficient way to do it right so people are doing an -- there are also doing it you know a big trend is instantly to a five JavaScript apps that are packaged as native apps. Which it's not about efficiency and when you get Quad Core phones it pine is really matter anymore unless you're building some kind of first person shooters -- like that like you only if they if the constant. It doesn't really matter but as the processes that pastor and two years and -- -- -- Yet -- likely go way elect. Portability really matters the fact that I write one app and then deploy -- all over the place is as white and jobless update for so long -- -- -- Java was sort of a shared thing on your operating system and -- can install a bunch times. -- -- -- -- -- -- It's a different -- I think you do you have any error run time on Android and in each app is not -- only -- a packaged with -- com. Which is why hundreds but. Which is -- one of the reasons is that it's of the -- that you learned today so you know will probably talk more about this next week as we actually think about it this new service came out. I've done it before the -- Com and it's certainly interest team and town. Yet. It's also an interesting one freaking crap yeah yeah so loud that you break lot of technology people used to I used to be that kid works just like a lot of -- phone anymore it's now. But what's inside of it atom. So it yet -- -- -- -- figures being cut interest in you know late. Those those -- on the Internet reflects matched by -- Some -- -- and wait in line for eight hours format and incomes -- through -- on the ground in front of all that her area is that sort of thing but. I think -- areas it's wasteful but it's totally hilarious but -- that will not be possible. With the Panasonic tough pad tablet -- -- -- both to be nigh invulnerable. -- it's also thirteen hundred dollars. To get that little nine vulnerability but it's -- with. Military standard. 810 GE readiness so that means that you can dropping you can buried in the sand you can -- -- -- with water. You can -- -- I don't like dominoes yet. -- floating these this yielded these sort of thirteen hundred dollar -- -- it is kind of aimed at you know. You know construction workers aboard the military. Or places where you kind of want to tablet take a bullet for you. It's not really toy I remember. On the phone companies come out -- climb Nepal's they would have I don't know if -- are like Panasonic. Tough books and let them out yet as laptop -- exactly that they could drop from the phone pole. You know high up -- and in the design and -- I imagine this is sort of a similar thing yet and it simply seems like to be easier to carry around. Because those students -- -- -- like tiny laptop mean nearly little briefcases. And they get smaller receipt over the years that the below the current generation of their but tough books. -- -- -- Panasonic went in there. You know not really that much different from you know regular -- laptop. 129 united seems expensive but you know. Into anything as I get at -- yet there are four times or -- for itself. Targeted -- you know government to an unlimited budget be exactly like -- In other power look at this heroic Noah who ought to be 5000 dollars. They're also saying things like you know with the sort of thing can be equipment that's -- full access analysts are case now. -- keyboards magnetic stripe reader Smart card readers has -- I guess the idea of being replica. Of the core. Module -- inexpensive platform that you can kind of build will be one out of it. Think it's cool and I'd definitely go by when I'm gonna -- just by Keith called -- there. Hey you know terrorist lab and -- -- Their will -- Thompson's -- I've. I've been I don't Wear -- watch URLs I adore -- and -- -- -- you did. Even -- thirty what powers that watts when operating systems that watchman him -- With electric powered by records. -- out of. Have we Agassi's canvassing the sort of interest entry in the neck and -- wanted to take a minute talk about. I -- starting with the Sony life used sort of like Bluetooth Android powered. A small tiny device that -- mounted on a watch band and paired with a Smartphone to do things like. All the time but then also allow -- -- the Bluetooth caller ID and SMS read -- And then we're starting to see a lot more of these devices the -- you're seeing right now on the video is -- the -- one. And I in this is like a developer's platform to combine for about the 300 bucks and and I -- Basically looks like a cheap digital watch until you deal -- swipe your finger across the color touch screen and you see that their absence you can install on it. And I mean Gillick if you look in the video or hear it just looks cheap digital watch and only know that sex. Within in the second you can way to sphere of the screen and you'll see that it's actually just a full color LCD that this looks -- And then you know we've also got that the moto active file which is that a similar device that was developed and launched by Motorola with for agrees there. And then another product called via -- -- -- -- this kind of stupid name but -- similar concept interactive device kind of looks the best of them all. Yeah -- yet if it comes -- -- different colors and app has been the one that on the -- interest in and the titanium one actually does not. Come in -- climate. -- so the unit we have this notably influx. Of these sort of second Neary displeased -- about that that you know 200 to 300 dollar price point. That I joked around on Twitter like you can now instead of staring -- -- it for phone in the bar. You can -- watch -- board inpatient and disinterested. But you know the kind of idea that you don't have deploy your phone out of your pocket and pirate that four point seven inch screen just to see. Who's calling when you have a Bluetooth device near here and you can get caller ID generates and that the site they feel about -- states need to the -- it's gonna catch on. And I home. I don't know I mean we saw -- originally with the Nam. Well a bunch of different things and it's not standard world it's also an IOS world as what rein in our -- since a lot of these devices there aren't all the ones and have mentioned this to our powered by Android at the prestigious Bluetooth -- is the vice. They will work with Blackberry critiques and so this -- -- costs 249. Euros witches. While at 101000 dollars and Xbox three just -- three -- that's pretty expensive. Com and I feel like. -- -- Wrote geeks so. You know what we think is cool is totally different than you know what the -- the world maybe think -- -- But probably similar to whatever listening thinks is cool so I really liked the idea. 300 and whatever dollars too much for me to spend on this. I don't I would need it to like the look fairly good and not. Look like my old -- -- Claire watts each Nam. That I really like the concept of being able to sort of see what's going on -- afternoon email. You know some basic information on my watch. Without having chemists on -- it would save battery left my phone because the display heats up so much your battery. Com so I really liked the idea I feel like the price needs come way down the stylish -- it's so way out you and then I'd be ancient. Melody as a hundred bucks 99 dollars you have a nine -- yet. Which is a lot for a lot -- right -- Diana ludicrous when and that one. Consumer emirates U 49 guests over their thinking of members but still just over three -- -- doesn't interest in Virginia. So you're saying that the price -- to -- -- you have witches and I mean the Nam. IPod nano is about that starting -- about. That pressed it is being an open a standalone 129. Impairment and I on an 82 -- that you can only pair with an iPhone -- decidedly -- the next -- -- prepared and -- -- -- take fact that that are not yet not really the same now. This is really a similar Bluetooth. A screen will the nano is just a Bluetooth antenna a week from beams so you do you reaching a point. Where it. I'm just -- I think they can that current rate at that especially if I could use this standalone as like a music player something you wanna go around in I didn't have to take my phone with me. And equal right. And it will see that I think most CNET news kind of you know leading edge -- early adopters tech devices and in -- -- he was over 300 -- -- And it it I think that launched what January. Maybe me earlier this year haven't maybe last year an -- So move on -- -- system of parent was just -- -- -- I guess also before remove one. And I is listeners viewers and if you have an opinion on the send us an email or send the launch informal poll -- in the form and the. I do it wherever I -- it's like a nine dollar. Linked cashier at a Wal-Mart one day I have I have bio watch. A a lot of times when I go on vacation you buy cattle country is a point that and had you know. Believe my iPhone on the hotel room -- something -- -- and and we -- -- I need to know what artist's -- -- lights for the trip yet. And like I'm dollar ruling that Watson. Maybe fifteen would you do would be like to have no idea realism -- -- landed don't know -- watts or one of the many reasons. Tequila could ruffle watches via increased -- missed what is. Now they'll -- when more BetaNews -- into the email. This is this interesting and good -- -- down -- -- I am very intrigued by it the more that we talked about a republic wirelessly newcomer. Tied to the wireless carrier. -- game as kind of jumped into the -- with the beta and limited program that -- basically gets you what looks like -- Moon pretty basic in -- phone. It's -- held the optimists. A touch screen that that that's pretty much what anybody whose entrances and in this sort opinion is going to be looking at. But -- the kicker is nineteen bucks a month. Value by the device 499. Dollars in nineteen bucks a month gets you unlimited data unlimited -- -- -- -- and unlimited talking minutes. So no contract no termination Earthlink Internet authority for nine the -- bucks now for limited term even -- it's interesting. -- but -- there's -- catch is there's -- there's no asterisk but there should be a gigantic and districts. -- that price because the unlimited. Minute stayed in tech that you get here. Are when you are on Wi-Fi. So when you connect the phone to Wi-Fi you can it automatically switch into -- -- load. That out your for your calls go over the Wi-Fi connection your data will go over the Wi-Fi connection here SMS messages of course coordinates in connection. Now. I believe they piggyback off he sits Sprint's network yet are -- -- here's here's the catch. It is a phone so there is cellular data a but when you are on cellular data on you in -- with. I guess some. Pretty low restrictions here -- talking. On cellular. Or else what else. Restaurants for voice minutes it's 515 minutes so. Let me start by saying they say they're flexible but -- if you -- over for a month or two these limits. That's cool it but a -- every month -- consistently doing this -- -- Morning exactly. So 550 voice minutes -- -- is actually a lot -- 150 tax. And depends on -- be sent a lot of -- not on Wi-Fi or not your wife that there are some romantic spirit who voice. -- -- -- -- -- -- But 300 -- it -- is really the the kicker there you'd have to. Do some heavy configuration of the phone to -- -- only download podcasts several Wi-Fi error you know only do this kind of data usage. There wouldn't be surprised there are some sort of setting. On the suppose in that -- or some sort of tool. The tech republic will supply do you that you can flip the switch and Disco like aren't. Data only -- -- where I'd just -- so that you don't teachers often trouble with that. But he -- -- since. An interesting kind of kind of model here is an atonement report aquarius wireless tech republic -- -- -- -- programs. Where -- -- -- it but I also loved it on there. On their on their website there's -- that picture of a hand holding a phone and a cult that says the mobile network that runs on freedom. Amazing. I think it's -- just. As its breaking new ground and we'll see a lot of stuff if you -- an area where there's like a ton of free Wi-Fi group. Or you just you know you'd only gonna be doing a lot of video through a factor office and free. Wi-Fi at home for end and you really really. Q you know like you you -- you -- -- really wanna make calls every now and then on your drive in the governor fifteen minutes of -- -- And this can be an interesting map interesting destructive sort of current pricing or your -- every kid. You -- ago -- that. They're gonna do it. Sorry well certainly aren't out -- locked down market down our. -- -- -- -- -- -- Email. Cnet.com. Aren't we've been -- this email from our three week yet. But I -- -- already answered it so vote. So it is comes in from Adam in Utah adamant that meant -- two weeks ago that replied to him. But for the rest of you were curious atom is -- in ethernet Evans says. -- Internet -- between my Xbox 36 in the basement and the router in my parents' bedroom has proved to be impractical. As of four high school student -- lack the funds to buy an Xbox wireless adapter. Is there anyway that -- -- -- user can plug their phones into the Xbox by USB and then use the phone to connect the Xbox. Love -- Wi-Fi network. So if there's any way please let me know -- -- route option is preferred but not necessary of the show. And data three times also -- a Motorola click two. Using free and and the short answer is -- There's no way in the problem -- -- your phone which you know if you -- you can definitely do some sort of like USB tethering. The problem is the Xbox-360. It's not set up in such a way that it can actually except in the Internet connection over it's USB port. Announcement -- that it can actually really except USB over the USB -- and it was just by 360 users who've tried to use a USB key. And the storage device and -- the this device is not compatible there will exactly -- -- talking about. -- And -- basically and can either have to run the cable or save up for that sort of Wi-Fi. Access point that -- -- receipt which you can find on eBay for like twenty books. Idea -- I'm sure that you by twenty bathroom house. And -- it -- in the earlier to have something you can -- and even a third thirty product that didn't do it via its buck controller -- of the wireless adapter. But having ended the other thing now suggest is you know he seems free you know tech savvy -- that the routers in his parents' bedroom. I our -- my parents about moving the router. Navy put it in a closet you tell them that you know -- -- -- are receptive for the whole howls. Will be better if we move the of the world's -- to a central location.
