Battery life is the core of any phone.
But everything we do on a phone, watch videos, use high speed data, and got ourselves with GPS, [UNKNOWN] searches, and those fast [UNKNOWN] and big beautiful displays, well, they heat up a battery too.
Energizer, yes, the same company that makes batteries wants to help.
But in a unique way, or should I say in a big way.
Along with the French company, Avenir Telecom, it came to MWC 2019 with a gigantic phone with an equally gigantic battery.
How gigantic, well the Powermax P18K Pop has an 18,000 milliamp battery.
What does that mean to you?
Energizer isn't making specific promises just yet.
But last year in Barcelona, the company's P16K Pro had a 16,000 milliamp battery.
It was supposed to last five days during normal use and up to 40 days on stand by.
Not surprisingly, such a huge battery comes at a cost.
The Power Max P18K Pop is 18 millimeters thick, or about three quarters of an inch.
That's thicker than more than two Samsung Galaxy S10s.
So, it's really a brick of a phone.
Don't expect to slip it in a small pocket, but hey, it will last a long time.
The battery powers a fair bit of features.
There's a 6.2" display and a MediaTek P70 processor, a cool Features the two megapixel dual selfie camera that pops out of the phone's body.
There's also 128 gigabytes of storage, a micro SD card slot, a rear facing triple camera, Android Pie and a dual SIM slot
