Electrolux's not-so-simple washer does more for less
Washing Machines
[MUSIC]
This $1,099 washing machine from Electrolux may not look like much up close but it actually has a lot of really cool features hidden that are working for it behind the scenes.
One of the most interesting things about it is it's smart boost feature.
This is basically a third pump that is built into the washing machine that actually pre-mixes the water and the soap in advance of the cycle.
The idea is that it will give a more overall clean, a more consistent clean.
And it sounds like a gimmick when we first heard about it back in January.
But This thing actually works.
It had an excellent overall performance score.
The best one we've ever had to date.
Which is saying a lot when you factor in the price.
The control display too is really intuitive.
It doesn't have the same simple LCD screen as the Samsung model I just reviewed, but it also has a 4.4 cubic foot capacity, which is standard and competitive for front load washers like this one.
Overall this is a model I would wholeheartedly recommend for its performance, its features, and its amazing price.
