Doro 622 senior phone has sleeker look, shoots video
Mobile
-Hello everybody.
It's Lynn La from CNET.
Coming into you guys from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain with the Doro 622.
The Doro 622 is a phone for seniors.
As you can see, it has big bulbous buttons for easy pressing and large display fonts.
On the front here, there are two indicator lights for the battery status and text and the display panel for the time.
Two new features of the 622
is a simple weather widget on the desktop that you could also access on the menu and it's the first Doro handset with video recording capabilities.
Additional features include a 2-megapixel camera, an emergency call button that can dial up to five preloaded numbers, and hearing aid connectivity.
The device comes in two colors, black and burgundy, and it launches today all over Europe with plans to come to the U.S. afterwards.
Again, I'm Lynn and this has been the Doro 622.
