At 900 bucks, this Defintive Technology W Studio Micro is more than most people pay for.
[UNKNOWN] But, is this worth the money?
It certainly looks the part with an aluminium top, a large wooden sub woofer and a swanky remote control.
This unit also sounds good with a very refined performance that's also deepened with music.
The fact it will also do multi-room music via the [UNKNOWN] system, is also a plus.
Especially if you already have other compatible components.
And yet there's a couple of things that give me pores about recommending it.
Firstly, that aluminium is sharp, and has scratched my arm leaning over it to plug cables in.
I wouldn't trust young kids around it Secondly the Denon Heos HomeCinema sound very similar, has similar features and it cost at least $100 less and it doesnt have pointy edges.
The Definitive Technology W Studio Micro is lovely.
But its not a super star that the larger Studio W Heos.
