Speaker 1: The command key on your keyboard is such a powerful and useful tool to help you have a more productive and fast paced day on all your software and programs on the Mac. Now you probably know cop, uh, command V command X command C for copy paste and cut, but I'm gonna show you a bunch that you may use that will help speed up your day. So let's start with my favorite and that is command tab. Now with command tab, it allows you to cycle through all of the apps that [00:00:30] you currently have open on your computer. When you land on the one you want, let go. And there it is. I've got my finder command tab and it brings me over to Chrome. Now this leads me to another other, one of my favorites and that's command H H stands for hide now to do that, just command H I'm hiding my windows, and now I've got a nice clean and fresh background, and I can walk out on my room knowing there's less clutter on my desktop.
Speaker 1: Next up let's open spotlight, just like on the iPhone. You can use this to find apps quickly [00:01:00] on the Mac commands space bar will open this up. I've got my spotlight up and let's put in safari, I've got safari, just click enter. And there you go. It opened up on this screen. You can do it with any of your apps and you can also, let's say, I'll put Chrome in this time. You can also drag these out and put them onto your dock. If you'd like to now let's open up Chrome for this next one. And you can use command T to open tabs. And let's say you closed out another tab. You can use command shift, tee to open up the last tab, and you can do it really as many times [00:01:30] as you want for whatever amount of tabs that have been closed in the recent history.
Speaker 1: Now, while I've got Chrome up, you can also use command N to open up a new window and stands for new. Can also use this in other applications, like your email and for iMessage to start new messages to others. And this next one, I literally just learned from a coworker, and that is while you're in either safari or Chrome, if you use command L it will bring you right to the search bar, so you can easily and quickly [00:02:00] copy that with command C and then send it to whoever you wanted to send it to. There you go. I now command you to go try these out on your own, and if you want to get a full list of all the command hot, check them out on the SNET article, along with Morem Mac tips, I'm Justin Fornet, and I'll take you later.
