If you're like me, you lose things all the time, most often, probably your keys.
I've got a little bit of advice right here that should probably help you keep track of things a little bit more easily using technology instead of common sense, and I just want to go over and let's take a first look at the Cobra Tag Bluetooth Device Finder.
Now, essentially what the Cobra Tag is the small key fob.
It's about 2-1/2 inches tall and you attach it to your keys or your backpack or whatever you like to keep track
of.
After charging the device up, you pair it with your smartphone using Bluetooth and an app called the Cobra Tag App.
Now that's available for Android or Blackberry phones.
Sorry, iPhone users.
Now after paring the app with the device, it basically allows you to keep track of where your keys are with your phone, and also keep track of where your phone is with your keys.
It works like this: If your phone and keys ever get separated and outside of Bluetooth range, both devices will beep
to let you know that you forgotten something.
So if you leave your phone on your car, your keys beep at you before you get too far away and if you leave your keys in your desk, your phone will beep too before you get out of the office.
Now if you ever need help finding your phone or your keys, there's a function built in to help you do that.
For example, you lose your keys in a messy room, hit a button on the phone and the Cobra Tag will start beeping, and if you can't find your phone, hold down the button on the tag and the phone will do the same.
There's also a GPS function built in.
So if you don't hear the beep, the app will tag and send you an e-mail, a tweet or a Facebook update to let you know where that connection was lost.
At about 60 bucks, it's probably not the cheapest way to make up for a little absentmindedness, but look at it this way: If it keeps you from losing your phone in a bar once, it's already paid for itself.
