Black Box gamifies exercise with VR (and it's pretty cool)

I'm about to enter into the Black Box Arena. This is the black box. It's actually part of a larger system, VR and exercise. You're not going to be buying this and bringing it to your home. But, what this is going to do, it's going to let me play a game and exercise at the same time. I gotta put on my gear, a VR helmet or visor, and some wrist shields. [MUSIC] So these are customized for Black Box. This is a VR interface, keeps my hands free so I can grab onto this. Prepare for this people. That's what my eyes look like. I know it's weird. Well, my hands don't move but I can see them. The software is an Alpha by the way, so this is not gonna be out for a while. There, so something's gonna get me in the back. Stand with your back to pad, so all right, so I've got the handles. So as I push forward it throws a meteor, and I'm trying to aim it at these guys. It's definitely gamifying a chest press, I will say that. All right, you guys, take that. A fire hawk, am I getting that? Let's see. Throwing meteors, it's still coming, it's still coming and get him. So this thing is actually doing is it actually changing the resistance, and will reward you essentially for trying harder. Look for Blackbox to first appear in late 2018 in [UNKNOWN].
