>> Hi. I'm Molly Wood and welcome to the Buzz Report. I know what you're thinking. I wore this dress last week, but that's because I'm actually not here this week. See, all our computers are packed up and on their way to Las Vegas, and of course, Christmas is upon us. So with that in mind, please enjoy the best moments of the Buzz Report from 2008.

The gadget of the week is this guy right behind me. This is Treo engineering's little showcase project if you will. Now, they make sound systems, but they have done just a tiny bit of pimping to my new car right here. Let's take a look.

Now, what I like best about my new truck is all the TV screens. There are 14 of them, and that's good for me because I have a really short attention span. Like, sometimes I'm just hanging out on my big old monster truck tire, and, "Oh, thank goodness. Some TV." Sometimes too, I just get bored just trying to get in my truck. You know, I'm like, "Oh, it takes forever to climb up here. I'm -- oh, phew. TV." And then once I'm in my truck, I got a little bored already. Luckily, I can see five monitors from here. One, two, three, four, five. And also, this is where I control my Xbox. And of course, being the gracious truck owner I am, I wouldn't want my passengers to get bored getting in either.
>> Thanks Molly.
>> No problem.

Other drivers might get bored, but if it turns out that none of this is evenly remotely street legal, you can just distract the cops with your seizure lights. It's awful. It's not safe at all.

>> In news that is awesome this week, scientists say they may have figured out how to safely repel sharks. The scientists hope that the discs will work in open water and could eventually help prevent sharks from getting caught in fishing nets. I am hoping they will well in open water and will soon be embedded in the swimsuits that are sold at Old Navy.

In green technology news today, this summer's Democratic National Convention in Denver will be fueled by hot air, yes, but also beer. The Molson-Coors Brewing Company, headquartered in Denver, is the first to convert its waste beer into ethanol. And the company donated some of that ethanol to General Motors, which will use 400 flex-fuel vehicles to drive around attendees, delegates, and candidates as well as the media. And I just have one question about this. There's such a thing as waste beer?

>> The Buzz Report News Reel of America. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 marks DVD day, when peace arrived at last in the war-torn home theater. The soldiers of Blu-ray launched their final assault on the weakened shores of HD DVD. The enemy strongholds fell one by one after the defeat of the mighty Warner Brothers, next Best Buy, then Netflix, and finally, the giant Wal-Mart fell before our boys in Blu-ray.
>> What the hell?
>> With Brian Cooley.

>> What the hell? I didn't think Grand Theft Auto could get any more vulgar. Then along come these. That. I got an email about this from a co-worker, and mind you, not the wilting lily type. She's one of those indie filmmakers who vacations in the Third World and has a tattoo of Boris Yeltsin in a bra on her ass. So I figured, "What could shock her?"
