Alcatel OneTouch Watch: Affordable smartwatch with built-in charger, but that's not enough

Affordability, decent battery life, working with iPhone and Android phones, and no annoying dongle to charge.
Sounds great, right?
Well, I've got the Alcatel OneTouch Watch on my wrist which does all of that.
It also does fitness tracking, heart rate, can tell the weather, gets notifications.
Not a bad package.
It looks like Android Wear.
It has that round watch design.
But if you use it, you'll realize it's definitely not.
It's go a very simple set of features built in.
It can use somethings like tie into your calendar appointments or find out what the weather is.
May not always connect.
And that's the problem with this.
It feels like it's a little slow.
It feels like the notifications, the bluetooth connectivity, go on the blink a bit.
And you have to raise it to look at the time.
Things like the pebble, which are affordable and work pretty decently, do a good job at getting notifications.
If you want to do something more advanced.
Android wear watches are dropping down to this price.
You can get something around $150, and you can do more with it.
And there's the Apple watch, if you're an iPhone user, which is very expensive, and a totally different type of product.
For its design, for its built in charging, and for its decent battery life, the one touch watch has promise but.
The fact that it doesn't have a microphone, no extra apps.
I would probably go with something else right now.
