The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 is an entry level smart phone that will mean different things to different people.
I'm Jessica Dolcourt for CNET here at CES 2015 in Las Vegas.
Let me tell you what I mean.
The Pixi 3 is capable of running Android, Windows Phone, or Firefox.
Plus, it can have 3G or maybe 4G LTE.
Come in a range of sizes, from 3.5 inches all the way up to 5 inches, have a ton of different colorful casings to choose from, and also possess a wide variety of specs.
But you can't get all of these in one phone.
What it means is that Alcatel will bring this phone and all of its permutations to the carrier partners of the world.
And they can choose which operating system they want, and all of the other hardware and software specs.
On the Android side, we do have mostly 5.0 Lollipop, that will be supported such on really, really entry level, low spec phones, and that is going to use 4.0 Kit Kat.
The one thing that consumers do get to pick themselves is the color of the case.
They wanna swap out black for another bright and vibrant color, then they can do that.
So all this to say that I don't have a price for you or availability, or any other information specifically about the Pixi3 that you're gonna find in your area.
Just that it will be an entry level phone from Alcatel and one that will probably have a very competitive price.
