Air Hogs introduces FPV flying to its DR1 racing drone line
The DR1 FPV Race Drone from Air Hogs is a palm size quadcopter with a camera in front, they will live stream video to a phone you place in an included headset.
The idea is that instead of flying by line of sight like you would with other toy drones you'd fly it using the first person view, or FPV, just like you would with a full sized racing drone.
AirHogs made this one much easier to pilot than a regular racer though.
So even beginners can put on the headset and start flying.
The kit comes with the drone, its controller and FPV headset.
But you'll, of course, have to supply the phone.
The whole package will sell for around $100 when it ships later this year, and if driving is more your thing, there will be FPV racecar for $100, that like the racing drone, will allow you to drive via a live stream from a camera on the car.
